Today we held a party for Carlito, celebrating his 32 years of service with the Little Sisters of the Poor. Carlito, who began working with Little Sisters in 1977, recently decided to retire after serving so with such dedication in the laundry over these many years. To show our appreciation for all that he has done, we held a party in his honor. Carlito was well loved and this was evident by the great turn out!
There was dancing, singing, conversation, and laughter. Many also enjoyed the cake and other treats the kitchen had graciously supplied.
During the party Carlito collected thank you cards from the Residents and staff. Thirty-two to be exact, one card for each year of his service. Many thanks and good wishes to our friend, Carlito!
