Every year, staff members here at the Jeanne Jugan Residence recognize a fellow employee who best exemplifies the spirit of Saint Jeanne Jugan. The 2012-2013 recipient of the Jeanne Jugan Award is Valerie Bottiglier. Valerie has been our receptionist here at the Home for seven years. Her willingness to do whatever she can to help whomever she meets certainly demonstrates the spirit of Jeanne Jugan the moment someone walks through our front doors. She is continually patient and composed doing a job that can occasionally be somewhat stressful and challenging. The Residents and other staff members always come first in Valerie’s mind, and she is always willing to go the extra mile for someone in need. We are so grateful that the Lord has provided our Home with someone as faithful and devoted as Valerie, and we are pleased to recognize her as this year’s Jeanne Jugan Award recipient.
